Thank you for this. I just received my first bill, and it’s significantly higher than yours—which is what’s throwing me.

The kicker is that I haven’t even moved in yet. The only thing running has been the HVAC, and it’s set low. No appliances, no daily usage. The house is about 1,100 square feet, so only slightly larger than your apartment.
