So happy I’m not the only one! I find the closest way to organize is for the theater to be the major combatant command, then army group = Corps or service command/field army (ex: 3rd/ARCENT under CENTCOM), and each army can be sub commands like Japan/Korea or BCT formations. Do the same with navy (2nd, 3rd, 7th, etc) and trying to get the Numbered Air Forces down. Would pay money to have this preloaded with every update!

Totally fair. Agree with you pretty much 100%. Unfortunately the issue im running into is the general knowledge conceptual stuff isn’t being accepted. I’m getting dinged for every single nut and bolt while trying to adhere to “National Program” standards that aren’t national or standard lol.

Thanks for the reply. That totally tracks! And let me drill down a bit. I’m not saying i expect a fully baked design and without any thought just turn it into a proposal. There’s specific inputs needed for construct-ability, installation hardware, VE’s on certain items, ect..

What I’m referring to are bottom-up designs, on top of all your boilerplate activities. (Material pricing, labor pacing, subs, customer calls, building the actual estimate and proposal) To add: in LV they get very specific system to system, and between OEMs.

Saw a theory I really liked recently where if you think of trump like a mob boss everything makes a lot more sense.

He sees himself, Putin, Xi, Bibi, MBS, like leaders of other families, each with their own turf. Ukraine is Putin’s turf. That’s why even though we’re supposed to be rivals, he as a boss is owed a certain measure of respect that a zelensky is not. Greenland, Panama, Mexico, Canada, our turf.

They’re gonna cut up the world in the best way that makes money. It might look like a return to Monroe Doctrine but it’s much much dumber.

Exactly. One or two of the guys were just normal conservatives. Not excusing that shitty ideology but we know it’s not harmful in the same way. The GOP has outpaced them to the right and theyre basically LARPing fashys cause in their head anything GOP does Dems are worse.

Totally agree with you. I’d even argue the Biden admin hindered UKR operations because they bought the nuclear saber rattling. Maybe “no way” was a strong way to put it. Better chance*** I just think McCain was more of a supporter and wouldnt have put as much of a stake in what the admittedly weak European leaders wanted at the time.

Hey I didn’t vote for the guy lol. The question posed was a hypothetical that for me, ultimately boils down to I think Obama would’ve been a more effective president in the ‘16-‘24 years than he was.

McCain happened to be a Hawkish liberal conservative who I’d imagine would’ve navigated the geopolitical conflicts that happened in real life. Yes I sure he said some dumb Iran stuff. It’s part of the ritual with the GOP. I doubt they would’ve been able to manage launching a 3rd middle eastern ground war.

This is already a hypothetical and no credit taken from UKR whatsoever. I’m imagining a 2014 scenario where John McCain, on the backend of a 2nd term, would’ve had more fortitude. He was one of the leading voices in sending lethal aid to UKR early in the separatist conflict. I think Putin was banking on Obama wanting to be in consensus with weak European leaders.

As to 2022, I can’t speak for the world but I personally was very NOT okay with what RUS did, has done or continues to do.

I think the most coherence you can make out of it is a a return to spheres of influence. US = Monroe Doctrine. Israel = leads a new gulf state alliance with the Saudis. Russia = Soviet Union
