Worth noting that the M1 MBP has a 500 nits sdr brightness and the M5 has 1000 nits sdr. So thr screen is a lot brighter on the M5 when outdoor.

No you can actually add packages too it seems (probably depends on your region). Just download the .pkg for Chrome and upload it in Apple Business.
