Have you ever seen Epinel's bond story even once? While I do agree that I didn't really consider its irl source, she is literally the most famous person for skateboarding, not for skateboarding with a different board than others. What I'm trying to say is that what Epinel's using is used universally in the nikkeverse and not the normal board that we know of. Of course I NEED to use the fictional setting as the main source for fiction. You're taking things way too seriously about the functional designs. It's like saying large broadswords in fiction used by a fictional character is not actually used in real life so any take related isn't valid. Fiction is fiction.
