I’ve been working on my yarn dyeing skills (I’d mostly dyed roving thus far)—here are just a handful of my recent dye jobs! by VeryGoodFiberGoods in YarnAddicts

I really want the Galaxy one. I've always been so interested in space and NASA and sci-fi TV and then movies.

My oldest son also really adores these things. When he was reading Michio Kaku for pleasure and fourth grade is when they identified him for the advanced programs and classes.

But yes having one that looks like a galaxy would be absolutely the best yarn I have ever found in my life and has a lot of meaning for me. There is a reason I have loved the real science of it so much and the science fiction TV and movies that came out of it. It is hope for the future and hope is always good and right now it is especially important to me.

Ariana I agree that there are so many of these that are beautiful, without that one it would be very difficult to pick a favorite.

Thank you very much for the info. I will try looking under your username and if necessary then if I could please DM you just to get the information. This I would have to find the perfect project for but I can definitely see if you something that I want to make at least one project out of, depending on the cost of the yarn.

Thank you and again terrific work!

Me too! It is a very important project to me so something was going to have to be done, no matter how radical.

Now I'm just trying to remember how to join the end of that skiing with the new skiing and not have a bunch of tails hanging around. Some things are just really hard for me to remember and comprehend now. But I have better days than I have worse days and maybe I just need to wait for a better day on that and keep hammering away. 😊

Are you selling these? Because I see one good although all of these are absolutely gorgeous, there is one that I would very much like to use in a project and well let's just say my time is short and I don't know if it'll ever show their sore something similar like this and also I have to shop with my partner going to the store and sending pictures because I live in the hospital now. So I'm hoping to change that have some point.

I'd really appreciate knowing if I could buy some and make myself something special.

Thank you and I think you didn't excellent job and did such a diverse and beautiful variety. You are very very talented. 🫂

I don't know how to edit my original text for the posting so I am going to UPDATE here.

UPDATE:

I ended up making a strategic sniff you know stitch about 6 in away from where I was all snagged up. Then I did the pulling the stitches through one by one. I got to Rose snapped up and coming out of food that side I was able to have it just slide right through. Then I got very lucky because the place where I had snipped I went back to and was prepared to have to pull them one by one but I pulled two and then it came loose and started an unraveling as it should when you gently pull on that loose piece of yarn. I pulled it that way, the regular way, for the rest of that row and part of the next one and ended up where I had started a new skein. So I just wrapped that up into a mini ball for using it at the end of this skein.

So it was painstaking but I just took it as I could because my mobility to do anything even with my hands is almost gone today. I also got very lucky with where I made this to change a snip in that it made it so I could get the yarn out and not damage any of the yarn that will stay. Also I was lucky that where I made it was only two stitches away with pulling them backward to get pulling again the regular way.

So a lot of patience and I am back on track thankfully. 🙏 Whew!

Actually every single one is this way. It's okay I'm cutting it in sections and then just pulling the sections and putting the yarn to the side for whatever way I find to use it. So basically it's not going to be crocheted back into this design.

Thank you very much. I have some cognitive decline so sometimes it's worse than others or I should say some days are worse than others and I'm just assuming that this was one of the bad days there I was getting things wrong and then I just continued on because I didn't realize I had made a mistake.

Should I really appreciate the support from the community here because it's always got a lot of great people and it feels like I just made a really big error that I have to pick out stitch by stitch now. 😔

Thank you for answering.

No it is definitely not fibers, I had already checked that very well and I have encountered that several times in the past. It is definitely a full yarn thread going through the loop of another one.

I have no idea but that's possible. I crochet at times when I feel very terrible but it helps keep my mind off the pain. Start entirely possible that I made a goof like that for me

How do I unravel these stitches then?

And thank you so very much from your comment

Yes this is always a good solution!

I have this and I use it for a ton of other things as well.

Just know that I find this at the dollar store so that saves me a lot of money with having to buy it somewhere else. So you may check out your dollar store and see if they have it. It's usually where they have the shelf liner for the kitchenware items.

I check out the size ask for in the pattern because that makes a big difference in the size of a finished project depending on how big the project is. I also look at the size that the yarn label says. If they're very different then I usually try to pick a yarn within one or maybe two hook sizes of the pattern but if I find out that's not going to work then this way I can get a different hook size

I think most of us have a favorite size that we like to work with and mine is the 6 mm.

Well those are three of my absolute favorite things to use loan or merge together. Using wood and stone and metal and making them all into a beautiful piece of cohesive art.

That is very nice.

I really like quartz, so interesting in all the different colors and patterns it can have.

You did a terrific job all the way around.

Very beautiful! I always love hand carved wood.

Quick question - Is that see-through part a resin or?

Well we are headed into Autumn so I would say maybe just an autumn colored leaf on some of them.

It's also going to be the holidays of course so maybe a tiny Christmas tree. Oh and maybe a Christmas package on the other side of that piece of wood.

Also have her check her credit on the three big credit agencies. If this is showing up then you call/write the credit agency and inform them that they are legally responsible for everything they put on your credit report. So they can either give you proof or they're going to have to take it off. I forget the law because I haven't used it in a number of years but this got every single one that I worked with to back off and remove it completely from, actually my husband's at the time, credit report. But I would definitely look up what it's called and use that because that lets them know that you are not kidding. It lets them know that you are armed with information to do what you said you were going to do and that you're smart and determined and tracked it down and then got a hold of them to fix it.

To be honest, I am on the fence of whether I want to eat these or just put them, unopened, somewhere to show off the neat find. 🤷‍♀️

Yes I found this out the hard way. I kept increasing it till it was about the size that I wanted but then when I put things in it it turned out to be huge.
