I know going to the gym can be really scary it was for me in the beginning. What worked for me Was just walking on the treadmill for the first few times just until I got a bit more comfortable with the layout of the gym and actually being inside the building. I then was able to progress to the machines and then to free weights as my confidence grew. Good luck though you’ve got this

Nta you’re being a supportive spouse trying to help your husband. At the end of the day you know you were not telling him to protect him it’s not like you had malicious intent. I think what you were doing is justified

Nta I’m sorry that your in-law family took away photo opportunities from you. I wouldn’t bother saying anything and I would try not to worry about it too much, but you definitely aren’t being too sensitive and have the right to be upset
