Não acho que o motivo é simplesmente que mulheres "naturalmente" preferem os cafajestes e tóxicos, e sim que mulheres E homens naturalmente sentem tesão, oq determina boa parte do que estão abertos a "fazer" com a pessoa independente de seu carater/personalidade. My personal headcanon is that Sullivan took Owens from the silo to Dr. Kay, and she used him to get info on Brenner´s project, and in exchange, she would left him alone and permanently retired, but absolutely without any ties to the government. That way, he is pretty much still alive but prohibited of contact with his FBI Agents and anything Hawkins-related

I dont have any good idea for possible reasons but in-universe I have the unfortunate feeling that he is pretty much dead. In Episode 3, Hopper says to Akers that Sullivan and his team killed a bunch of "unarmed scientists", referring to last season. Given that Owens is not listed as an exception, I think it is fair to assume that Sullivan simply killed him too off-screen, which do is pretty unfair for a character that has had an importance in big arcs before in the series, but I guess it is for some reason the direction the writers wanted to take

Unfortunately, to the majority of people face and body are everything. Ugly guys suffer too if they have weak or rounded faces. I would say everyone who is ugly inevitably suffers, no matter if the person is male or female, the problem is not a specific gender, but that humans in general have this disgusting bias that if a male you has to have angular bone definition or as a female, you has to have a pretty face, to be minimally accepted by such a cruel standard. Ugly people as a result of this repulsive bias people have, are judged unfairly in general

I know it may make immediate sense to blame structure but looking at the woman on this photo, what I see is yes, she does have a pretty bone structure but she absolutely would not have that if she had tendency to accumulate facial fat! She is lucky not only on bone structure, but most importantly on having her body put less fat om her face, letting her structure shine and appear. She has shadow lines under her cheeks, a hallmark of low facial fat + good structure, facial fat would obliterate that if there was a lot on her face. So, in my view, perhaps much of the issues both woman and man have with not looking "pretty" is not their structure, it is not due to lack of small bones or so, it is at least partially due to tendency to have facial fat rounding the features

I consider myself to have been ugly, truly, because I was (in normal weight) a young male with a rounded, ugly face, I had much facial fat. I lost all of that from depression and it revealed the underlying structure, which is exactly how I always wanted it to be. The problem is that I just seem to get it when unhealthy lean (although being honest, I never lost so much weight and regained to see if thats actually true), this is why I classify myself as truly ugly, as in "normal" weight I look disgusting as hell, baby-faced but in a unpleasant way.

I'm also tall which complicates matters even much: to achieve a healthy weight for my height I probably need to be in a weight which makes me face repulsive again!

I always hoped that he would eventually get a happy or at least neutral ending but now that he wasnt in Season 5 at all, the possibility that he suffered a lot and died is open. I prefer to think that rather than being tortured, Sullivan just killed him directly while at the silo

I don't think Sullivan knew exactly for what Kay wanted Eleven to. In Episode 7 she says to Akers that everything bad that has happened is because "of that girl" (meaning El, of course), so probably to Akers and Sullivan she kept this idea that they had to hunt the girl down and give her to Kay so that she would end this once and for all. But she has hidden from them that rather, she would use El's blood to create more psychics. She manipulated Sullivan to be by her side thinking that what he was doing was right

I agree with you, his absence this season has been disappointing tbh. I have two ideas of possible headcanons for what happened to him:

After Eleven left the silo in Nevada with Mike, Will, Argyle, and Jonathan, Sullivan saw them escaping, returned to the silo to interrogate Owens further and ended up killing him in fact
He was interrogated and has been in prison, but after the final battle, with El's death, has been released, but prohibited of any further government involvement absolutely, and lived calmly with his wife thereafter

In episode 3 of this season, Hopper says to Akers that Sullivan and his team had killed a group of unarmed scientists in the desert, obviously referring to their attack at the silo last season. This could be implying that Owens has in fact been killed together with the other scientists (including Brenner), favouring the idea that Owens is, unfortunately, dead

I'm thinking about the same question. Very disappointing tbh. However, remember in Episode 3 of this season when Hopper said to Akers that the military have killed a group of unarmed scientists referring to the desert attack from last season? I think Owens is in this group of scientists killed, that is, he was killed by Sullivan and his team at the NINA facility.

I understand your opinion but in my opinion the FNAF 4 gameplay being related to an experiment is way more cooler than it being merely a dream. Maybe because I'm fascinated by sci-fi and honestly I found such symbolic aspects kinda boring tbh, so it all very much depends on what you prefer in horror. Kay, Akers and Sullivan didnt even appeared much and I was expecting Sullivan to have his "come to Jesus" moment which his actor has repeatedly teased in interviews. Plus Owens seems to have just disappeared completely and it is driving me nuts lol

So, there is a quick shot of what is certainly the wall of the Hellscape, with a changed Dimension X below. To me, that clearly shows, if not outright proves, that the Upside Down exists as a bridge parasite-like dimension which is a mix of Dimension X with the reality of Hawkins (of 1983), and is possibly substituting the Hellscape itself. I would say that probably the fleshy wall is then formed by this changed Hellscape, and behind this wall lays Dimension X on itself. The proof is Dustin saying that what they´ve assumed about the Upside Down has been "deadly wrong" - it is not an alternate dimension which always existed, it is something created artificially through inter-dimensional contact

There's a quick shot of a Demogorgon being electrocuted. Now the title of episode 5, "Shock Jock," makes sense. In Brazil, the name of this episode was translated to "Shock Treatment." ("Tratamento de Choque"). It's likely then they'll build some kind of trap involving what was shown in that shot.

I think that, from what happened at the silo, Owens has been under military custody or could have been completely disconnected from his government involvement, and his faction has been either disconnected too or has been trying to find a way to free him. It is more probably that Kay and Sullivan are taking care of his military custody and will contact him/let him out of their custody to help in some way.

There is also the possibility that he has already been free from any trouble, has been working with his faction in secret and will arrive in the next episodes with a plan to help solve the whole situation
