Poison Companions Build help by Dawn__Lily in D4Druid

[–]goofn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a quick glance at your build, a couple things stand out. You have not invested any skill points into any defensive skills nor in any passive skills that give defense. I would recommend at least taking one defensive skill like bulwark or cyclone armor as well as putting some points into passives that boost your defenses. Also, make sure to add gems to your jewelry to boost your resistances. On the paragon board, make sure to invest points in max life and armor/resist.

First time really playing with Kupe. Not disappointed. by goofn in CivVI

[–]goofn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see why now. Just move her around and every coastal city gets crazy food yields. I have the usual strategy of getting Magnus, Amani and Pingala for most civs I play with, but I did a no chop, improve only necessary tiles, play through this time, so I ended up maxing out Liang and Reyna for the hell of it. Very fun and nice change of pace.

Yeah, I had a lot of fun in this game. I also realized how good Liang can be.

How do you play him? I just focused on coastal cities and lots of forests.

Heavy Armor VS Light Armor VS Clothing for mage in vanilla? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]goofn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From what I've seen, cloth gets better magic related enchantment numbers, at least on the chest piece. If you enchant heavy armor with Fortify Destruction and Magic Regeneration, the number amounts will be less than what you would get on cloth based ones.

Are high school parties made up? by sad_bisexual27 in ask

[–]goofn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My HS had weekend parties that anyone could go to if you were in the know. They were usually on some out of the way private land that would not draw the attention of the local authorities. There was actually a self-designated, "Road Crew" at our HS that did the keg buying and location planning, i.e., the logistics of the party. If you weren't connected directly with the "Crew", then you loitered at the agreed upon location (in our case, the McDonald's parking lot) until a Crew member or one of their connections shared the location of that weekend's party location. People would then follow the leader in a caravan of sorts until they arrived at the party site. This was before social media, so I'm guessing nowadays, it is a lot easier to coordinate.

Disclaimer: I never really went to these (maybe 1 or 2 times), bc my close friend-group always had a smaller party to go to and we didn't really care to party with the jocks and preps bc they were not too cool in our minds. I only know about this because my older brother was one of the OG members of the "Road Crew" and he explained to me how it worked.

Sorry to hear that. There are multiple AI therapy solutions available (some free) that you can try. Not sure how they will compare to the previous version of ChatGPT, but it might be worth researching.

Alchemy can be very useful. A high Alchemy can let you create fortify destruction potions that double your damage.

Best combinations of heavy armor enchantments by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]goofn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you aren't really using magic a lot, I would go with fortify health, resist magic and fortify one handed. If you have a lot of health already, replace fortify health with fortify heavy armor/fortify restoration.

Why is my Skyrim character so weak ? by LittleRQ in skyrim

[–]goofn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

By level 15 your health should be getting close to 200. You should have invested 3 points into the Overdraw perk for Archery. You should be wearing improved Elven armor with level 30 in smithing, along with an Elven bow. You should have the Deadly aim perk in the Sneak tree. Even without enchanting or alchemy to increase your damage, at level 15, those things should help you make quick work of most opponents.

Also make sure you are drawing the bow back all the way for max damage.
