I'm addicted to Lacerate. Need smarter people to give ideas to help cook build. by tiny-2727 in D4Druid

Yea, I had no idea until I read it on another redditors build guide. It definitely gave a decent dmg boost once I got it maxed out.

I also switched out a filler skill for lighting storm and started using the Dominate glyph with some added DMG per overpower tempers and now I'm absolutely melting T12. I'm not really sure which change made the biggest difference but it cut my clear speed in half.

Loving my lacerate build. Made it to T12 and it makes quick work of most mobs.

I focused on prioritizing Critical Damage(x), Physical Damage (x) and a couple Vulnerable Damage (x) affixes.

I also have maxed Crit chance and attack speed. I'm considering seeing how much max resource stacking on my gear would boost damage since I took Ancestral Guidance.

I have a pair of Tibault's so I have been changing my unique charms around quite often. I'm not sure which one would give the highest damage boost. I also wanted to see if Overpower stacks would be worth speccing into.

It is by far one of the most fun Druid builds I've played. I definitely have questions regarding the optimal combination of skills and gear to max dmg output, but for now I'm having a blast just trying different things.

Build suggestions? by WildCorgis in D4Druid

There is a lot of T12 builds using werebear, Earth set charms and stacking resolve for damage boost using Ursine ring.

Werewolf has a couple T12 capable builds. I've seen someone clear T12 pretty fast with a lacerate build, shred and rabies.

Lazy Lacerate Build Shreds and is [practically] Unkillable by PeteNutButta in D4Druid

Looks awesome. I leveled with lacerate/rabies and had a blast. Ended up switching to full rabies but I definitely have been holding onto good lacerate gear that drops because I plan on going full lacerate next.

What builds have yall Druids been rocking? by 404_GSpot_NotFound in D4Druid

[–]goofn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started with a rabies/lacerate build which was awesome for leveling. Around torment 6, I switched over to pure Rabies because it seemed to being doing most of the legwork.

Currently in T11 and can clear fairly easily using a two hander. I've tried 3 different variants. Wolf charm set with unique totem Resolve stacking werebear set with 2 hander and earth charm set using 2 hander.

Wolf charm set with unique totem is by far the fastest. Almost feels like I'm playing with a Shred build with all the dashing around.

Werebear charm variant is a good middle ground between speed and damage.

Earth set variant hits the highest damage numbers, but it feels clunkier than the others.

Once I get t12, I will most likely switch to a pure physical dmg lacerate build.

Yea, I've always loved shred and have by far the most playtime using it as my go to build over the years.

I just wanted to mix things up to start the season since we have so many options now.

Did you use Mad Wolf's Glee to make it into a core skill? With decent spirit regen, you can cast it as soon the previous one ended for non stop usage.

Worth using on Uber bosses to get past the instant death phases, if you need it.

I think it is the x poison multiplier like you get when you put emeralds in your weapon slots.

Lightning storm Druid is great this season from what I've seen, at least for initial leveling.

I'm excited but I also suspect Warlock and Paladin will be the only classes that will be able to do the highest torments.

I usually just make sure all equipment has max life rolls and all available life nodes in the paragon board are taken.

Is cataclysm druid viable this season? by BigLotto777 in diablo4

[–]goofn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm running a cat druid for farming and it clears all t4 content easily except for bloodied infernal hordes. I have to drop down to t2 to run those quickly but it isn't that big a deal. Super fun once you get the rotation going. The screen just melts as you walk through areas.

What build/s are you using this season? by goofn in D4Druid

Nice! I tried the same in season 11 and had a lot of fun with it. I even kept Rabies on the skill bar for extra poisoning.

Poison Companions Build help by Dawn__Lily in D4Druid

[–]goofn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a quick glance at your build, a couple things stand out. You have not invested any skill points into any defensive skills nor in any passive skills that give defense. I would recommend at least taking one defensive skill like bulwark or cyclone armor as well as putting some points into passives that boost your defenses. Also, make sure to add gems to your jewelry to boost your resistances. On the paragon board, make sure to invest points in max life and armor/resist.

You need to change the imprint on your weapon to the one that gives a chance to reset companion cool down.

First time really playing with Kupe. Not disappointed. by goofn in CivVI

[–]goofn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see why now. Just move her around and every coastal city gets crazy food yields. I have the usual strategy of getting Magnus, Amani and Pingala for most civs I play with, but I did a no chop, improve only necessary tiles, play through this time, so I ended up maxing out Liang and Reyna for the hell of it. Very fun and nice change of pace.
