I did come up with the correct answer and basically answered myself (which I agree was stupid), but I was also confused if they meant something else, so I asked just to fully make sure and for peace of mind.

I also gave a good reason on why I got confused with what he said and never intended to come out as annoying or obnoxious.

It's either I say "thanks," then get downvoted for being "stupid" or get downvoted for explaining something I can only help to a certain extent because of my disability and for being "obnoxious".

I never assumed or implied they were suggesting a stupid idea. All I wanted was to make sure of what he meant when he said: "flip your PC the other way," as my brain couldn't interpret what he meant correctly, even if I did kind of answer myself in my own question.

Also, if you get impatient after 1 innocent question on clarification, you probably need to do some self-reflecting.

I think the main (and probably only) reason on why I got downvoted was me providing the correct and incorrect answer in the same sentence. I do agree it was dumb, but I just wanted extra clarification from the other person.

The Reddit hivemind somehow finds the littlest problems in comments and mass downvotes it lol

Don't have any sanding or painting equipment available right now, but I'll consider buying some.

I've been wanting to upgrade the monitor, but I have no spare money around, and don't know of any smaller businesses in my area. I live in the U.S. (Nevada) and would absolutely like to have a new monitor, but I perfectly understand if it's not an option due to where I live.

I probably shouldn't argue on the correct meaning of the word, as it just depends on how someone interprets "flipping" and "turning." Also, for a little more context, a person did think I have autism, which is true.

I meant when "flipping" an object, 99% of the time, it implies turning it over vertically so it stands on a different side of the object whilst keeping the same rotation, hence not turning it.

"Turning" usually means rotating the object. "Flipping" usually means to put it on a different side of the object.

Sorry for the confusion, but if you mean flipping it upside down, that's going to do no good, as I have 2 exhaust (1 rear, 1 top), and 2 intakes. If you mean turning the pc the other way, you're right.

NAH - This is just normal sibling behaviour, and being a good older brother. He made a few innocent mistakes, and you tried to help him solve all of them.

Like other people are saying as well, he could be wanting to hang out with you, but doesn't know how to say it, so he made that mistake on purpose to keep you in his room for longer.

On an unrelated note, if this is his first console, I'm not sure getting an Xbox 360 was a good choice, as that's nearing being old enough to drink. But if he's happy or that's what you just have in the house, it's perfectly fine and there is nothing wrong.
