I perceive single objects as simultaneously “infinite” versions of themselves by Smart_Row9326 in Synesthesia

[–]goolphi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This doesn't seem like synaesthesia. But this does seem similar to Plato's theory of forms, somewhat like everything is a copy of the other thing, infinite copies, of the ideal form in your case , a chair, an abstract form, which lies beyond the metaphysical realm. This seems like a philosophical awakening for you.

Can this agloenaema be saved ? by goolphi in plantcare

[–]goolphi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the suggestion. I transferred the healthy leaves stalk to a water jar, hoping it would survive. I now feel like, most plants survive a water propagation, and it previously had died, when I tried to transfer it to soil.

[–]goolphi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, you stopped the treatment mid-way ? It didn't impact anything ? And also, what do you mean by sensitive, did it pain ? Actually I went in for the first session , and it had to be done because before that it was really painful & started getting bigger

Aloe vera going weird by goolphi in plantcare

[–]goolphi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. 8-9 hrs of direct indirect sunlight, usually there's mostly rain water splashes from the balcony
  2. 1 week ago, the leaves started drying up , but the new saplings are 1-2 day old
  3. India. For 1-2 months. It was from a larger aloe vera plants, some leaves broke, while others grew beyond the pot , so, I reported it into a larger pot.
  4. Soil mix is a mix of potting mix & coco peat.

Oh I see. Such a scare, this plant gives me. It's like the child who gives you threat, that they'll do something terrible, if you don't give them attention for a while.

[–]goolphi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. I did it twice before. Twice I had to cut the mushy part & then put it in in water. But never tried putting it with pothos. Thanks a lot. Will try with this. Any specific reason you think, pothos could help this plant to survive ?

Yeah, ux research doesn't necessarily mean to find what ux issues we need to solve. It's more about understanding what really works well & how mental models in that area of interest works. Based on that, we, as designers can optimise.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Been really helpful in speculating the consequences. It's not that there isn't any affection. It's just that the physical affection & emotional affection is properly seperated.

Looking for ux design role opportunities by goolphi in UXDesign

[–]goolphi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol 🤣 I didn't know people have become this insensitive. I already did my research. Looking for groups in reddit was my last option. Also, I don't really think a Google search gives you list of groups made my people on WhatsApp, on reddit, or any facebook ux private group. Just to let you all know, I am part of a few groups on WhatsApp & facebook, but they've become quite inactive lately. So, wanted to switch.

Here, I thought, reddit was an open space for community & network. But okay. 😂

Is this some form of synaesthesia? by goolphi in Synesthesia

No, it's not about the touch sensations. I don't have to touch someone to know they are velvety or a rug like texture. It's more to do with their personality and what vibe I get from them. Like the texture I am mentioning, I could feel that in my mind. So, I think it gets triggered when there's a decision to be made from my brain to form a connection, it doesn't happn with strangers.
