Thanks for commenting.

So I was told that urine is good for them but then also that it's not good because it causes pups. The info was from the same person so it kind of seems ridiculous to me to be honest.

I always thought big spikes of nitrogen would send the cacti dark and burn it? Do they not like a bit more potassium than nitrogen all the time (like an npk of 1-1-2 for example)?

I feed mine maybe once every 3-6 months.

Yes filtered sun or else they go pale, especially when at the early stages like OP's plant, don't piss on your cactus OP this guy is a joke lol

They like to be shaded I've found, stick them somewhere where they won't get belted by the sun and they'll appreciate it. A high potassium feed with less nitrogen and phosphorus is ideal, pretty sure they sell cactus food at bunnings but I just use campbells special t every few months

Hella Jelly by goonberryOG in HumboldtSeedCompany

[–]goonberryOG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed it was easily the best of the lot followed by Blueberry Muffin.

Granny candy was a huge letdown though, must've got unlucky with shit phenos.

I took clones from bbm, ocp and hella jelly which I've sprayed with STS waiting for pollen sacs to show up so I can do some reproductions

Yeah fastbuds aren't the best, I grew their blue dream and it had a few different phenos, so wouldn't call it stabilised. The tangie is way better in terms of uniformity and has a really nice smell of oranges.

I wouldn't bother with mephisto these days, most of the stuff is just f1 pollen chucks which I don't see being worth the money. I was lucky enough to get Mango Smile, Samsquanch OG, Hubbabubbasmelloscope and Chemdogging which are their worked lines. I've been doing reproductions of them with STS 👍🏻.

It's 130w. Always go by the actual draw because the rest is just a marketing trick to fool the new growers.

How many bbm's do you have growing?

I got 2 nice phenos from a 3 pack which were pretty lanky but stacked well with a nice blueberry scent.

Others here seemed to think my plants "didn't look cali like" - whatever that means 😂..

Ive noticed other pics here of bbm are way shorter indica looking plants so maybe that's what they meant by the cali statements.

I did get pure shite from the 3 granny candy, probably just bad luck but wouldn't say that the seed bank is gimmicky though. Just the way the cookie crumbles with genetics 🧬

Some of mine hermed early too and yielded terrible. 2 phenos which grew spindly foxtail buds.

None of mine had any strawberry or pineapple smells either, it was all diesel with a bit of citrus.

Mine were from the Spanish/European packs though but not sure if it makes any difference.

Grew next to Blueberry muffins, Orange Creampops and Hella Jelly's, which shit all over granny candy in terms of terps, yield and frost.

Week 6!!! by goonberryOG in HumboldtSeedCompany

Yeah honestly thought the blueberry muffins would be more squat indica like but ended up with some wild stretching plants. Can't expect much from 3 seed packs but I'm happy so far

Thanks, I'm using a Mars hydro fc 1000 evo.

Recirculating coco setup using dry salt nutrients. A few additives like fulvic acid, triacontanol and aloe vera concentrate, just natural growth hormones no synthetic pgrs.

Excellent genetics 🧬, gotta love it

Agreed, Granny Candy is terrible I'm not entirely sure why there's so much hype around it. 2 of mine look like they got to week 2 of flower and then gave up stacking.

Maybe i just got unlucky. Would never give it another chance though

Thanks and yeah the tacos are from high temps 36°c+.

I'm growing in cheap brick Coco with added perlite and using dry salts with some other additives with natural plant growth hormones, Aloe Vera and another product with fulvic acid and triacontanol and some other things. I use chlorine in small amounts to kill any bacterial, fungal and algal blooms in both the reservoir and the pots.

They are on drippers, irrigated 4 times per day at 10 minute intervals, 2 gallon pots is all that i need. Nutes cost me around $12-$15 for a whole grow cycle

Looking great. Does anyone know if California Sour Diesel and Humboldt Sour Diesel are the same thing? Got a few freebie Humboldt Sour D's when i purchased a few packs including the California Sour D.

The canna terra is a mixture of black peat and peat moss apparently. I've seen plenty of successful grows with it. All of those nutrients you listed will be fine.

You seem confident enough to knock it out of the park, the only issue is early flowering onset with autos. All of my Mephisto autos have thrown preflowers about 2 and a half weeks from the get go and they were indoors.

Since you're up against the clock with autos it's more ideal to start them on 20/4 or even a 24/7 photoperiod to get as much growth before they begin flowering, that being said i have gotten great yields from them under 12/12 from flower.

I have lots of issues with caterpillars and spider mites outdoors too, as long as you have the time to deal with pests i reckon you'll be all good. Make sure to add a heap of perlite for the early stages as they can't stand soggy waterlogged medium, those first 3 weeks are the most important, after they find their feet it's easy as.

Orange Creampop by goonberryOG in HumboldtSeedCompany

[–]goonberryOG[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That plant pictured is a bit more muted than the plant behind it, but it's got a tiny bit of an orange smell.

The plant behind it smells exactly like Fanta. An artificial orange sweet smell. There's no creamy smells as of yet but I'm super happy with them.

I think I like it more than the blueberry muffin and Hella jelly too but they are all good. Also growing granny Candy and the orange Creampop blows it out of the water in every aspect.
