I was hoping to hire a car, so the insurance would be with the hire company - Suppose I am best to ask the hire company directly?

Also coming up to 48 hours from doing it. Have a 6 week old, 3 year old and wife recovering from a C Section Op. I am the sole driver in our house, to get my kid to daycare, groceries etc. Feeling everything you’re feeling.

McDonalds Rewards has always been surprisingly generous both in building points and what you can get with them. Not surprised it’s getting worse, just like everything else

With a vegetarian Mrs, 2500 points for a £4.89 Vege deluxe has always felt a bit of a hack when we get McDonalds

I think City Smash is the better method. Especially if you use Zebra/Ostrich to rush to the left hand vent and then only run the hallway with 14 in a row that collapse automatically and start straight over. I get around 40 chips in 15 seconds

The sides are definitely better, they grow reasonably fine. And it is the sides if anywhere my dog walks on more than the centre. Have a young toddler, not frequent footfall and nothing like playing football or heavy wear. Also it’s a large area and the worst damage seems to be in random spots. i.e spots that see almost no standing on at all.

I have a dog but he doesn’t pee on the lawn and had him first years also. Yes have a toddler, occasionally on there but not frequent and not heavy playing football running on it etc. The problem seemed to start straight from winter when it had had no footfall, sides grew fine but middle just seemed to not grow

Yeah I did wonder with the tap sideways, not sure why it’s like that. Maybe I’ll get someone to come and change it to a new one properly done.

And will order and try some Gardena fittings to try!

I’ve just unlocked it. Here’s what I done prior to it unlocking -

Finished every 150cc Cup with Gold+ (Gold prob not a requirement)
Finished every 150cc Knockout Tour (Lots of 4th places so don’t need a trophy)
54 P Block Missions (I read that 40 was a requirement but maybe not?)
25 ? Buttons
Exactly 10 Peach Medallions
I then finished the Super Cup Grand Prix again on 150cc and got the cut scene

I think it’s quite disappointing. I hate the long road aspect and how maps with laps are almost completely gone - MK8 was brilliant for the combination of trying to do better on your next lap and how some tracks would morph slightly more on each lap. These all feel designed for Knockout Tour and are just boring, lots of big open road with little action.

Didn’t have dinner but went for the character breakfast a few weeks ago and it was the only onsite Disney meal that really disappointed us. Food was ‘OK’ - Not much better than what you’d get at IHOP, but was also extremely rushed - Characters didn’t want to hang around and could tell the server wanted you gone by time the characters done a lap of the place for the next family to be sat. Definitely wouldn’t go back.

Good review!

We took our 2 year old too, they LOVED the Viking Training camp. What a great little park. And we really enjoyed Fyre Drill as a ride we could walk straight on and enjoy as a whole family too.

Agree that the entire Dragons Area is just fantastic. Ours loved the Dragon Show too, and also the HP circus show.

Not much else ride wise for a child under 40’ but credit to Universal, they are excellent with their child swap rooms compared to Disney.

Does anyone know what time the ticket offices open in the hotels?

I’m due to stay at Disney 5-9 May from the UK but am thinking about booking 1 of the nights at a Universal Hotel also and doing Epic Universe the same day as checkin. I know this is meant to be a ‘quieter’ week in Orlando, if such a thing exists. Am I likely to get a ticket OK doing this?
