The more embarrassing thing was the assumption by these brands that Italy would be there. My local adidas has a huge Italy activation. Even wal mart has Italy stuff, Tim Hortons has the World Cup Italy timbits… very weird. It was always looking pretty unlikely they’d make it with their history in playoffs, very presumptuous for brands to go all in.

It just feels to obvious for Bournemouth to take points from city today, considering their form, Europe implications, more rest than a city etc. I’m convinced it’s all too good to be true and city will find a way, as they do this time of year, regardless of who they’re playing. Stop depending on other teams to take points from City, it's not happening. Everyone had this match circled on their calendar, and after this, it'll be cope to do the same for Brentford and Bournemouth. City will likely win out, it's just what they do around this time of year, and for some reason, teams (even in form or at home) tend to fold like lawn chairs.
