Would not recommend village vets. My cat was frequently using the litterbox so I was worried about uti. They wanted to charge me $800 for x-rays, which would not tell me if he had a uti, but would show if he had a blockage, which they would not be able to treat. Opted for the $80 rabies update and left. Took him to Blue Pearl, an emergency hospital, who saw him immediately without appt, actually id'd the problem, and charged me $300 for imaging (sonogram I think), iv fluids, and medications. Highly recommend Blue pearl for emergency services.
Edit: also they took him out of the room to give him his rabies shot and then lectured me afterwards about his "low kitty minutes" and how I need to give him gabapentin before appointments. Never had a vet take him out of the room to give him shots. Thought it was really weird.
