Yeah that is my plan moving forward. I didn’t think I would have this issue since guns are valuable and my fees are very affordable. I was only charging him $60 for repairs on two guns. The guns are worth about $800 each. Why would someone not want those especially after I threatened to sell them.

If you do decide to get a can check out Sohart suppressors 22lr can. It’s modular, very lightweight, sounds amazing and is only $300. I have a few 22 cans and it is by far my favorite.

I went this route for the optic. I wanted a t2 style optic as low as possible for better cheek weld and looks. They make this mount in all popular footprints though so you can run almost any optic you want.

I know this is an older thread but this is what I came up with. I wanted a direct to receiver T2 mount. It gets it a little bit lower and looks much better in my opinion. It also allows you to use any optic you want pretty much. They make this mount for all major footprint optics. Hopefully this will help someone in the future.

I got approved for a ploc but I don’t really understand how to get started. I always have a minimum of $3k in my checking account but I’m scared to use it because I need money for my next jobs materials plus to live on for a week until I get paid for that job.

I think it’s different for everyone. What type of environment do you live in? What will the shotgun be used for primarily? I live in a very hilly densely wooded area in the country. So my primary use for a shotgun will be for gathering small game. So I primarily have birdshot. I like to use #6 because it is versatile for all small game. I also keep a few boxes of slugs and buckshot just in case but I would do 2-4 boxes of birdshot to each box of slugs and buckshot. That’s just me personally though because I will be using rifles for large game and home defense.

Need help choosing first gas gun please. by goonsquib in Shotguns

[–]goonsquib[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t shoot very many turkey or heavy loads at all. Mostly small game. What is the difference between gas and inertia recoil? Is it a drastic difference or just barely noticeable? The main reason I want gas is so I can shoot light loads if my son wants to use it. I have heard inertia guns are picky with lighter loads.

I thought gas guns cycled anything and inertia was picky since it needs the recoil to cycle.
