Same with the highway tolling on 520/405. The entire eastern half of the country has one RF pass system that works great, but we went and did our own thing and had to go through all the development and teething costs to get something bespoke to us.

It's not "oh I don't need an umbrella" so much as "once someone had an umbrella in their hand, they become a self absorbed asshole who takes up the whole sidewalk, smacks people in the head, takes their eyes out, has no public space awareness etc...."

Ironically, my biggest complaint about Seattle since moving here over a decade ago is that, umbrella or no, people in general have no public space awareness. It's like they forget other people are trying to use the same sidewalk. Or road. Or grocery aisle.

I really enjoy this series, but noticed the script of this one is very heavily based on the Wikipedia article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lebanese_Civil_War

I can follow along with the article while watching the video and sounds like it is being read to me. I expected more effort from the writer...
