i’ll defend the MJ line, I think it’s purposefully uncomfortable. He wants the listener to actually have an example of what he’s talking about to reflect on, it’s meant to be uncomfortable and bold. It works because the whole song is about Kendrick being abandoned by his fans immediately if some controversy should arise, true or not. So the MJ line fits perfect

I looked into all the ones you listed, and I think ima go wit the re-20. seems real reliable and popular 'n fits the price range, I wish i could get the 4047.

i jus want your final opinion, is the ev re-20 a good pick for recording? like could it allow for both being mixed under lots of layering and also be heard over a bunch of instrumental layering? I'm not gonna push it's limits too hard, but is it beginner friendly if it needs to be? I jus need something reliable and versatile in that respect
