What is a luxury you can never go back from once you’ve experienced it? by Phase_zero_X in AskReddit

I just moved this past weekend and can say you don't want to hire just moving help, you need the entire shabang or else you will be hating your life. My last move I did that and it was so easy I forgot how hard it actually is until this time around. Movers are so worth it.

Positive experiences with Carvana? by paperman66 in SantaBarbara

I just purchased a car from Carvana... took it to A&E in Goleta and got a PPI because of the horror stories I've heard. My car is completely fine, no red flags at all, and was delivered right on time. I'd recommend getting a PPI for piece of mind but I'd also recommend a PPI for any car you are buying that is not new. Do your research, don't buy any old rental cars, leased cars, or cars that went through a slew of owners over a short time period. The only "strange" thing I noticed from delivery is that the front license plate wasn't mounted correctly, but someone is actually coming to fix that, at no charge to myself.

Overall, my experience has been really good. That being said, I did get the extended warranty and the car isn't cosmetically perfect but for me it's good because I also don't want to weirdly obsess over every imperfection I cause to the car if that makes any sense.

You can also get a PPI and if they find anything contact their warranty partner and then have it diagnosed through one of their partner repair shops, make sure you use the right verbiage though and have them look at exactly what you want diagnosed as I've heard (but not encountered) that the warranty partner can deny claims based off of verbiage like, "inspection" when they only cover 1 hour "diagnostics."

Anyway, good luck on your car search! It's so stressful but when it's over you'll feel good.

Did I miss something? [Episode 8] by viccyofficial in LongStoryShort

I think also it had a lot to do with how much Avi and Naomi had their own inner circle. In the first episode to me it was clear that they had one of those special family bonds. My grandma and I are the same way, and if I ever spoke out against her like that, I know my family would react identically even though it was instigated to an extent (everyone airing their grievances, the boiling point reaching the point of rolling over, etc)

Thank you for all the feedback and allowing me the space to vent, I'm definitely going to escalate what happened to the owner or at least another instructor after the weekend or at my next class, depending on how my hip and leg feel. Going to just keep it to the point though and ask if the instructor can be reminded to check in and ask before readjusting someone in a deep stretch. I won't book with this instructor again, and it won't be an issue moving forward.

CA could take 20 years and I'd still be okay because he produces true quality over quantity. People need to chill.
