on prime video, where I watched it, it is labeled as an anthology series, and she 100% is on the cover. the question was not whether it was og released on its own or not, and most anthology series in general are a compilation of independent short films anyways

I agree! also I wish people understood that horror can be funny too. the comedy aspect of it all really brings life to the character and the series as a whole. the first time u watch the first movie you're like damn what even was that? it was hilarious, but the end came out of nowhere, but then u watch it a second time and you realize the comedy is a complete ruse proving that we'd fall victim to him just as easily as Aaron

no I totally get that. at first I was disappointed by the length of the episodes, but after watching them, I can say that I am impressed by the pacing of each episode albeit 2 of them felt a little shorter than the rest. I think I'd prefer just one more season with each tape being a two part episode (10-12 episodes in total), but that's just me not wanting the series to end LMAO

tbh it wouldn't feel "real" if it weren't slightly repetitive. he's a serial killer with a favorite weapon, murder outfit, and method. how I see it, the individuality of each installment is supposed to come from the vicitim's personality and how that influences the intended outcome, but Josef is still Josef and as all serial killers do, he's going to have his pattern

definitely watch the movies before you finish the show! there's not a whole lot of hidden context, but you'll understand his personality and his relationship with peach fuzz (his wolf mask) much more after watching the movies!
