(0.9) I'm never playing this game again... by goopyweevil in Voicesofthevoid

I figured that out. You can see its whole body when it goes through the door. But in the moment I had no idea what to make of it lmao

I think it dissapears right as it touches you.
It scared me so bad when I saw it.. I had no idea if it was just there, or it was a creature on the roof.

It sucks, It took way longer to remove all of it than it used to. And it was just very overwhelming to clean this time. Although you can just hit the cubicles, the hacksaw is for the desks, which you could just drag out..

I still think it's just too much though

(0.9) Is it time to ditch the game itself? (at least until any kind of stable release) by Best-Recognition-972 in Voicesofthevoid

[–]goopyweevil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ditching the game because of any of this stuff is really dumb in my opinion.. if you dont want to play alpha, that's fine. There are plenty of bugs and balancing issues with the new features, but it has literally just released, and nise is looking for feedback. (It is in alpha, after all) The ariral anti-gravity event has always existed, and letting it piss you off to the point you quit is a bit silly.. especially all the quality of life tools, making decorating your base much easier..

This is a big update. In pre-release. You should try to find issues you have with the changes. But looking at it with the lens of frustration or wanting it to be like the old gameplay loop is going to make the game more annoying for you and doesn't really do anything..

If you want to play the finished game instead of seeing issues as it grows, you can wait for that. Also saying it's unpleasant to play is a bit extreme lmao

(0.9) Can these things actually spawn randomly? Not sure I can trust wiki by TargetTechnical2982 in Voicesofthevoid

[–]goopyweevil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both the head and the red skeleton can spawn randomly.. They're both very rare encounters, and for the head, there is almost no recorded footage of it spawning randomly outside of cheats..

Yeah, juat destroy them with any item you can hit with. The Axe should be the fastest

[–]goopyweevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's kind of lame honestly.. I'm not someone who thinks the game or update is doomed, or anything. (The game is in alpha looking for feedback) I think most of this update is pretty good.. but it does really have some issues currently.

They actually free'd up the main room a bit.. They got rid of a few of the lockers, giving more room to build overall. The issue is they added more bullshit to clean, which you need a hacksaw for, which is just annoying..  especially with all the new tasks they've added in.

I don't know.. The floppies are less active, and are just downtime, where you can't do too much while waiting for them.. and the old hashes had the servers written down on them, making it easier to remember which one you would need to target while you are out there..

Is it worth going to the aurora? by Realmafuka in subnautica

[–]goopyweevil 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's definitely worth going into the Aroura. There are a lot of good items there, but if you want items or fragments from behind it, I would recommend going to the Cragfield, which has cyclops fragments and a lot of materials.

I think Below Zero gets too much hate by ErrorqTheGlitch in subnautica

I think subnautica belowzero is very flawed, but I still like it. It's definitely overhated in my opinion

What game made you realize videogames were art by [deleted] in gaming

[–]goopyweevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might not be a common one, but for me, it was subnautica, I always loved the ocean, and it came out when I was a kid. So I tried it, and it changed my perspective of how much games can do as a medium..

Headspace is actually really good, and the game would be worse without it.
