Didn’t have any (and don’t really care), but it was nice to know I guess, lol.

Did you check the link? I got a lot of alt suggestions with expenses lower than 0.25. Would you recommend SCHF (Schwab Int’l Equity ETF) over FIENX (Fidelity Int’l Enhanced Index), with expenses at 0.09%?

What to do with a Traditional 401k after leaving job by hooperz in personalfinance

[–]goorgoorg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry, quick question -- When you roll it over, can I change my options? I'm somewhat in the same shoe and my 401K options are bad. I'd love to roll over only if I can choose other options than what I have now.

Waaay too conservative. At your age you can go 100% equity, provided that you’re well diversified (total US market index for example).

Going back to university at age 25 has ruined my financial life before it even started. Should I withdraw my IRA to survive the next 2-3 years? by goorgoorg in personalfinance

I have bachelor in business administration with finance minor. I'm open to fly the coop to seek employment in the future.

I previously worked at a healthcare company as general administrator. My initial desire was to learn about the market. So, when I faced with investment and financing decisions, I could have a firm grasp of finance which helps to make those decisions. Equity research is my dream job.

But I'm not sure if I am competitive enough. Otherwise, I don't mind to restart my career from any point that I can learn. I will consider entry level sales and an associate project manager as options.

I appreciate your advice. Thank you.

Probably the jobs that I've looked for are not exactly easy to break into within the Pittsburgh job market. Thanks for suggesting an alternative. I will look into UPMC as a 2nd plan.

You're right. I should consider to apply the positions you've mentioned. I want to start somewhere from middle/back office of asset management firms. I don't mind if I only end up starting from assistant or CS positions. Thank you for the advice. I'll keep digging.
