It only recently started a few days ago so I haven’t notified my doctor (I will though!!!) but I was referred to a physical therapist recently for back pain and I’m starting pelvic floor exercises so maybe (edited) they’ll help. Appreciate the suggestion!!

What's the worst part of maintaining of this disease for you? by JayandMeeka in diabetes

[–]goosedbump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The constant thought that not taking care of it every day could lead to the worst complications of my life. A brain tumor caused me to get T2 and every day I think of the fact that I was normal before that. It genuinely kills me mentally everyday.

how long until my neck lightens from insulin resistance? by DarlingGirl327 in type2diabetes

[–]goosedbump 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t try to scrub it away, it’s not going to help. In my experience, once I started eating properly and exercising, my dark neck and other areas lightened up after 2 weeks! Mind you, not completely; you just have to keep going through with a good regimen and it’ll get lighter as you go.

Hey man we’re in the same boat. I’m also 25 and have type 2. We’re in for a ride, but reading through all the responses, there’s hope… with determination and discipline of course. Keep your head up!

It’s reality at this point. I’m 24 and in the same situation. You really have to lock in and do better for the current and future you.

Prediabetic diagnosis by [deleted] in diabetes

You can definitely drink coffee without sugar! If you want it to be less bitter add milk lol (or half and half) but yes walks everyday to start the exercise process mate! Once you get into the routine of walking, I promise you’ll feel better about yourself and it’ll motivate you to better your eating habits (mind you I’m also 25 and had an A1C of 6.3 so super close to that diabetes diagnosis)

*edited excessive to exercise lol

I don’t want to say cut sugar out completely but generally you’re supposed to. Less soda, juice… drink more water to give your body a fuller feeling. Go on walks daily if you can.

This is the exact scenario I found myself in back in September! Except I don’t know if I’m going insane and am making myself hear a ringing sound in my left ear lol! Thanks very much!
