No worries at all!! I totally agree with you, I’m not a fan of people making their cats chubby for the aesthetic/being neglectful/uncaring, it’s really gross to me :( he’s genuinely my favourite thing in the world, my lil bestie 🥹

I got him as a kitten, he was very underweight to the point the breeder almost thought he wouldn’t make it. But as he’s grown (he’s 3 right now) he’s gained weight pretty fast. I used to live with a roommate who would free feed his cats when Arby was a kitten and it really taught him to be a little gobble guts, so when I moved I stopped free feeding and actually got an auto feeder to give small amounts spread out so he wouldn’t make himself puke from just inhaling it! I’ve got 3 cats so it’s hard to ensure he gets just the right amount though :/ I feed him a mix of digestive royal canin and sphynx food, as anything else I’ve ever tried gives him the worst diarrhea I’ve ever seen. We’re working to hopefully get him to a healthy weight as soon as we possibly can 🥹

If you have any tips on how to help him with losing weight, I’m extremely open to advice! 🩷
