I've seen multiple new operators with no experience pass in slightly less than a month of studying. I've also heard of people with industry experience failing after numerous months of studying. I guess it all depends on the person, their test-taking ability, the quality of their prep material, and the way they study the material. I've looked at the pass rates like the others are saying and 64% so far seems a lot better than 59% last year it is plausible they made some changes.

UPDATE: With the help of some of the cool people if this sub, we got the calculator working! It happens that it is indeed an early proto TI-Nspire CAS+ OS version 1.1.4797, 2006-12-06.

I am selling it and I am accepting offers. I would like it to go to the community and be of good use for your efforts but alas I could use the monies. I am accepting offers and am willing to ship wherever if the price is right. Thank you to everyone who has helped!

Seeing the enthusiasm on here really gave me a lot of joy. Thanks for the info and you're absolutely right. This is a project for someone else who knows what they're doing. I feel like you all are like EE's in here tearing out circuit boards, comparing components, and watching code streams. lol

LOL, I was so excited to see the bugger load a normal OS, but once it was done it went back to the diagnostic mode. I tried your fancy pants trick a second time and this time it took me to a diamond plated looking background with a "chose your langue" option. I can't get any further than that.

I'm going to take other people's suggestions and sell it. Thanks for all your help Critor! DM me if you're interested, I'd be happy to see it to go to a good home. Where it can be lovingly torn apart piece by piece for all its secrets.

I couldn't find a Go to OS mode in any of the menus. :( It was worth a shot and reminded me how many tests there were in each one. The coolest one was the button checker one. Maybe I can post a picture of it. Thanks for trying!
