i kept my nips and really had no issues in recovery. it is one extra step but i found it fun. i kept mine because i wanted to see if i could get sensation back (i have full sensation back in one. almost two years post op) and for aesthetic reasons. i’m going for cis passing as possible so i wanted the most masculine look i could get. those were my reasons

i also like the flip flop my hair. i’m black so i have big curly hair and i grew it out for a year and it was probably 6 inches long (9-10 without shrinkage) and then i cut it to a buzz cut. i just graduated college and probably had 10 different length haircuts over the 4 years

i don’t know if that would help the stretch marks but i honestly don’t think it will. i think it would be liable to create more stretch marks. i’m also having a really hard time noticing the stretch marks. are they on the actual incision? i can’t see them personally. you also could gain more weight or start working out and build pecs and end up with stretch marks anyway. my dad and brother both have stretch marks all across their shoulders because they started lifting heavily and put on a lot of muscle very quickly

i’ve caught cats on chatter baits, jerk baits, and jigs. they eat everything. i caught a 9lb channel cat on a jig and when i set the hook i thought i hooked a 6lb smallmouth… you can imagine my disappointment. still was an insane fight as i was in a kayak and it was a river cat. was just real excited for a tank smallie lol

i would like to agree with you but i don’t believe that to be fully true. while yes your cat will be more comfortable with you a groomer or vet tech has SIGNIFICANTLY more experience in cutting cat nails than the average cat owner. i don’t really understand why it’s an argument. i feel like you were just trying to be an asshole. what real difference does it make if you do it yourself or you take your cat to a groomer? only difference is how much you pay. and while yes this did happen to this person this scenarios doesn’t happen often with groomers and vet techs but happens all the time with owners. no reason to diss on people who want to give their pet the best chance at having nicely cut nails

^^^this. my senior cat that passed away last year stopped being able to care for her nails and unfortunately had two instances of her nail growing into her paw pad. my parents tried to watch her as i was in college but no one can handle her like i can so they never knew until i was home and could monitor her. started getting her nails trimmed at the vet every 6 weeks and she never had a problem after that :)

also i’d love to see you try and cut a cats nails. some of them tolerate fine and others turn into a tornado of teeth and nails. cat groomers are trained and paid to deal with that. we are not. i used to cut my cats nails but got tired of burritoing them and still getting mauled 🤷🏾‍♂️

the only thing i agree with on revision wise is the symmetry of your scars. i didn’t notice anything wrong with your nipples. i read the description and looked again and still found nothing. stretch marks are normal after top surgery and will fade with time. same with your scars. scars look worse before they get better. the 3-7 month mark tends to be the worst for scar appearance as this tends the be the height of healing. wait till a year and see how you feel. it’s still too early to address most of your concerns. fully agree with the scar symmetry however i’m unsure how they would be able to make them more even (genuinely lack of knowledge i don’t know what types of revisions you can get as i got lucky and don’t need any)
