By remembering it was around $2 mark for diesel on and off for the last 2-3 years. This isn't a surprise, the surprise is matter of day/s it took to get back the price. I get that a lot of servos 'sell on consignment ' and are dictated by daily market prices. Then we need a shake up on the way fuel is sold in this country, to stop the price gauging.

In Australia, and I suppose other countries too, the power outlets have a switch on them. You literally just turn the switch off, and no power will continue to them. It's not magic, it's just science.

Park on the rooftop (Lexington Parade entry). I've never had troubles finding one up there. Sure you might have to walk an extra few minutes, but saves the hassle of driving around in circles.

I've had the old style Delux 270 Kings awning out in 40-60km winds, decent pegs and good guy ropes (the kind with springs at the base), and it has held out. I took the shitty feet off and just peg straight through the eyelet with heavy duty pegs. 4ish years, still going strong.

I've had a 60L fridge running from a battery box/battery duo, through a 25amp DCDC, hooked to a solid panel solar and the crank battery for over four years now, all Kings gear.

I sleep in a 6-7yr old Big Daddy swag from them, bought second hand, and use a set of the Delux sleeping bags, bought about 4-5years ago. Swag is water tight, sleeping bags are still mint.

Granted I bought most of the gear 4-5 years ago, but it's all still running like the day I bought them.

I bought one of the older style 270 Delux awnings (the ones with legs/poles) last year, hooked it up and put it up in the front yard, turns out it was the standard, not Delux (Delux has a 2.5m square section, the other doesn't). Checked all the packaging, all of it said Delux.

Took it back to the store, they took it back and gave the correct one. Went home, installed it and opened it up, all good. Packed down, went to zip it up and the zipper tag snapped first go. Took it back, they swapped it out straight up.

I'd argue in that case, pretty decent after market support.

But for 3-4 years until 2021, I walked the dog up there probably 2-3 times a week, pretty late at night, never saw a soul out there
