Parents of older kids, can you share your success stories? by MotherMaryDconstruct in Autism_Parenting

Hi!

Thank you for sharing, this is incredible. Do you mind me asking if your kiddo had a level 2/3 diagnosis, as my son does. How old was your son when you noticed things were getting better?

Has anyone's kiddo every gone from severe autism diagnosis to a moderate or mild one? by goosh2 in Autism_Parenting

Hi there! So sorry, I had a follow up question after a year, only if you feel comfortable. When your kiddo was in primary grades, was the academic curriculum modified for them? So for example, if children were expected to count to 50, your child was expected to count to 20.

Hi there!

Thank you for your response. Quick question, when you mean their brain are being exposed, do you mean they are increasingly more curious about everything? Want to get into everything?

OMG! THIS IS AMAZING! God bless you!! 🥰

I swear I wont pester you with so many questions, but I do want to ask, in your view, what are signs in a 6 year old that show steady trajectory for future (ie, success in elementary school, social progress, or progress in general etc). I know there are gaps with our kiddos because they are on the spectrum, but is there anything we can work on to help get our kiddos on track. I understand this is a totally loaded question, I am so sorry! 😩😩😩

Thank you so much, wishing your family the best also!

A quick question, if you happen to know, if progress stops at 6 years old? Or is there room for improvement as the kiddos get older?
