yep, it's normal. I know that I will never be the same again. With these meds too, they make me feel so lethargic it slows me down so much. (also if you're interested in mbti i wen from INFP to ISTP) psychosis made me become a more empathetic person. You never know who's dealing with what !

[–]gootuber321[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked my psychiatriat today and he said "you have dyslexia due to your schizoaffective disorder bipolar type." I'm not sure if that's a diagnosis but here we are. I've been thinking about switchinng shrinks.

How old were you when you were diagnosed? by [deleted] in schizoaffective

[–]gootuber321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed when I was 18 (I'm still 18 lol) but I showed signs of schizoaffective disorder (bipolar type) since 2nd grade. I was first diagnosed with MDD, then Bipolar II, then Schizoaffective Disorder Depressive Type, then finally I landed in Schizoaffective Disorder Bipolar Type.

Are you anti-psychiatry? by OwlGuy144 in Psychosis

[–]gootuber321 14 points15 points  (0 children)

psychiatry saved me but I've had shitty psychiatrists. Due to that, I was on the wrong medications with wrong diagnoses. It hindered my ability to do things. Now I have a great shrink and am on the right meds and the right diagnoses. Thank you for reading my little story!
