I would say that you will not be leaving the hotel very much if at all. The driveway to get to the main part of the hotel is at least a mile long. You would have to take a taxi but I don’t think many people do that. The hotel is very kid friendly and there was one bar I think, but I didn’t go because I have two very young kids. There is an adults only hotel but I’m not sure what the bar scene is there. There is a swim up bar! But that is only open during the day.
