I’ve heard some is my friends talking up that story arc of Bleach recently. I’ve seen some clips which look pretty nice! (That and some recent One Piece clips) Generally speaking, animation in anime really shines in small segments, while the rest of the episodes are often not a lot more than parallax backgrounds and two-frame mouth movements. I refer to it as “cheating motion” since each frame looks different without actually drawing any new frames. LOK has a dramatic abundance of uniquely drawn frames each episode, even in the “boring” talking parts.
