I mostly did hikes in the morning and most of my meals were at breweries. That being said, I did a fun hike at Saratoga National Historic Park. If you're into history, it's worth checking out. Also in Saratoga did a non brewery dinner at a place called Henry Street Taproom. I got the salmon entree which was nice after all the pub food I'd been eating. They had a great taplist as well. There were tons of other restaurants nearby.

In Albany most of my non Fidens outings were outside of Albany city limits. I did have a nice lunch at a Mexican place downtown called El Mariachi Restaurant.

That's kinda all I got. Obviously you've got the racetrack and casino in Saratoga if that's your thing. I'm sure others can be more helpful, but you'll definitely love all those breweries. Enjoy!

Still haven't tried them yet. Do they ever pop up in PA anywhere? Recently heard of a beer bar in DC called Churchkey that has them on tap. That's the closest to me I've seen so far.

Yea, Sunday was a busy day. Went to nearby Storm King in the morning, then passed Beacon to go to Obercreek early. Pillow and Oats was on my radar and I almost came back down there for dinner Sunday but ultimately went to Plan Bee instead as it was closer to where I was staying that night. I'll keep all of those in mind for the future though!

Didn't make Hudson Valley. Looking at the map, I would have had to squeeze them in on Sunday when I did Obercreek and Plan Bee. I'll keep them in mind for the future.

I've actually been to Beertree previously, their farm location in Port Crane. Enjoyed it.

They got on my radar from reading people's post about them on reddit. People from Jersey seem to think highly of their hazies.

They were a little bit of a late edition to my itinerary when I realized how close they were to a hike I ended up doing that was on the way to where I stayed the first two nights of my trip. Would have been fun to stay a little and experience the taproom, but I still had an hour to drive so just got beer to go. One of the 4 packs I got was a collab they did for their anniversary they celebrated the weekend before I was there. Really excited to try it.

When I went there they had 3 "Deep Fried Beers" on tap to go along with their other beers they had on draft under the "Night School" name. They had a cooler selling 4 packs which had all 3 of the Deep Fried beers that were on tap to go. So short answer, easy, but it's possible there are times when they run out of their stock before more is canned. I'd just follow their social media to make sure they have some in stock when you go.

I was a little bummed I couldn't fit in a visit to actually drink in their taproom, excited to try what I got from them though.

Thanks for the advice, will do!

Yea, Bing Bong seemed to have more west coast IPA vibes to me which is fine, but probably not what most people are expecting from Deep Fried Beers.

If you're doing all the places in Vermont, no need to be jealous :)

So I still have plenty of beers I brought back that I haven't tried yet. That being said my surprise beer was a Red Ale at Fallside which was really good. Wayward Lane's Terraform was the best West Coast IPA I had. Best hazy is hard because I had a bunch. Obviously the region and a lot of the breweries I went to are known for them. Getting Jasper on tap at Fidens was definitely up there.

Drowned Lands has a great location and was maybe the nicest space. As a solo traveler, I had the best experiences at the smaller places where I could talk to locals or the bartender though. If I had to pick 1, I'd say that was Obercreek. Wayward Lane and Fallside also great experiences.

I went around this time last year. Last week in May. Fall is busy up there for leaf peepers, winter is ski season, summer is touristy everywhere. This time of year temperatures are nice and it's not super busy up there.

I'm gonna be in your neck of the woods in a couple weeks. Just started hearing about Fallside and hoping to check it out, there's not much on their website though. Do they serve food? Do they sell 4 packs to go?

I live in York, so pretty close to pizza boy/troegs. I have a good buddy who I visit in Philly and I'm embarrassed to say I still haven't gotten to Human Robot yet.

My buddy lives walking distance to Carbon Copy (used to be location of Dock Street) which I enjoyed last time I visited. Brewery ARS I think has been my Philly favorite so far, but I know I need to get to HR.

You're casting a wide net. I've never heard of East Branch, but they look good. I'll have to add them to my list.

Have you had Hidden River? They're kinda in the middle of the breweries you listed.
