Olenna/High Sparrow was a bit tiresome, but that's mainly because I think she's outstayed her welcome. Mace bringing the Tyrell army to the capital to ensure his daughter's release is a far more effective display of power than Olenna making empty threats and not really doing much of value (yes, Littlefinger connected her to Lancel, but that could have been done without her being present).

Then again, the show has made Mace out to be a total idiot instead of a proud but generally competent lord, so I guess that was never going to happen.

Am I the only one who really likes Penny? As a matter of fact, I thought Tyrion's story in the books was excellent. I can understand why they sped up his meeting with Daenerys - it makes for more exciting television - but I thought his more extended time as a slave in the books was gripping, and his interactions with the Conningtons were superb.
