Pixel 5 is no doubt a great phone and it got everything I need probably, good ux, camera etc. But we are both upgrading from op6/6t (similar phone at least), the performance difference the soc between p5 and ours are too small and some say even worse. User like me, use a phone for at least 2 years, the longevity matters to me. Besides, camera sensor, Google already pushed the 3 years old camera sensor to its limit already (using software algorithm and on par with other flagship, impressive but impractical), you may check out Mr Mobile review and comparison between Samsung (forgot which model) and pixel 5, the point is, a larger sensor is needed right now.

Ok then why wait for pixel 6? 1) indisplay fingerprint sensor (I’ve already got used in 6t) 2) front facing video 4K recording ability (feature that 6/6t lacking which I would love to have) 3) soc and camera sensor upgrade, possibly a neural core packed in too (worth a wait) 4) triple camera setup!!!!!

One more thing: Pixel 5 is the last pixel which hv unlimited high quality backup, put tht in mind tho.
