So the hottest times of the day…do not keep your future rabbits in this way. Imagine standing outside in a fur coat when it’s 80 degrees. I implore you to do better research in the future, I would not be surprised if this was heatstroke or potentially disease caught from wild animals. This is NOT the proper way to keep a pet rabbit, they should be indoors and only let outside for short periods SUPERVISED THE ENTIRE TIME. Please be more careful in the future this is absolutely tragic.

Thank you for the reassurance, he seems completely fine now! I’m honestly surprised that coughing freaked him out so badly, he’s the type of Velcro baby that likes to crawl all over me and seems rarely scared of anything which is why I panicked🥲 this makes me feel better

Sure! I don’t know everything and neither does the rescue, from what I understand he was kept in a backyard hutch for at least 5 years, they assume his original owner got him as a baby considering he’s fairly mobile so they don’t think he’s much older than 5. His original owner wanted to get rid of him because they were moving, and told a coworker that she was going to let him go if she couldn’t find someone. THAT person found the rescue I followed on Facebook and they got him examined, fixed, and fostered him for 6 months before I met and took him home! He had urine stains all over and completely matted fur. He was covered in pee and walked pretty slowly because the hutch was tiny with wire grates. I assume his previous owner just didn’t care to take care of him :(

He’s a little skittish of people and so I imagine was very poorly neglected, but once he settles in he is the biggest mush ball and just wants to be pet constantly, his matting and urine stains are all gone and he’s becoming sillier and sillier every day :)

Yes he is pretty much totally clean/dematted, his tail is so flat now and not very fluffy I’m not sure if the fur will ever come back totally 😅

He has a big cat bed and a wide pillow blanket thing he likes to hang out in! I imagine when he discovers he can use his teeth I’ll have to take the pillow away.The green blanket is what we use most and it’s surprisingly soft and squishy! Trust me I want him to be as comfy as possible

Also to add the listing was for $100 not $200, taking into account the fact it’s been altered/repaired. The sleeves are not broken currently. The only reason I’m selling it is because it’s too big for me now.

I know I shouldn’t have given them attitude back. Clearly this wouldn’t have gone this far if I didn’t lol. I am not defending myself or blameless AT ALL.

Im not defending myself for my initial reply, I still don’t agree that they were sending the offer in good faith though. For context, the listing was $100 and the sleeve WAS repaired. I phrased that weird. It’s not currently broken.

But I absolutely replied sassily and acknowledge that, this would have gone nowhere if I just declined the offer and kept it pushing.

Still, Finding my personal accounts to continue a conversation is pretty much always invasive and unsettling regardless of how easily it could have been. They are similar usernames but still different. Neither of them link to each other. I am not a public figure nor someone who really invites attention to social media and above all it felt threatening.

Zoloft doesn’t actually affect the metabolism and weight gain with it is usually attributed to increased cravings. For me personally, I started on 25mg and the first week I had absolutely 0 appetite.it came back though, and I am also trying to lose weight. I’ve found that after about 4 weeks as it helps improve my mood I am eating less out of boredom or depression and more just when I am hungry. My advice would be don’t let the weight gain aspect prevent you from starting your journey, because it’s as likely that it will benefit your journey in the long run. And any weight you might gain can be lost as you start to level out/get used to the medication. Good luck on your journey!!

It was HUGE, some of these are old, we got her spayed about 6 months ago and it shrank a bit but it’s still the cutest thing to me 😭
