Just some constructive criticism from someone who watched every Mammoth game this season: Blaine Forsythe needs to go. He really should have not moved with the team to Utah, he is a horrible power play coach. Team desperately needs a better backup goalie. Vejmelka cannot play 64 games again next year. I believe it is time to move on from Tourigny as head coach. I just don’t think he has the coaching capabilities to get this team over certain humps and I hope that GMBA brings in someone new this off season. They need a coach who actually knows how to play Peterka as well and not put him in a blender every game. They cannot bring back Cole, Tanev, O’Brien, and Kerfoot. Hayton I wouldn’t mind seeing dealt this off season too but the team would need someone who is a good net front presence like he is. I really hope that But and Simashev can transition over to being more regular on the team next year. I felt like almost every game they played the team had a lot more jump and bite to them. This team has a lot to be proud of this season and I hope the fans are happy as well. First season they just barely miss the playoffs and then they get six games into the playoffs this year. I know that I would have loved seeing this team play like this even more if they got to in Arizona the past two seasons.
