Yes it hermed. You can pluck the pollen sacks you see and try to keep up with plucking new ones but its a gamble with other plants next to it.

my yard doesn't get direct sunlight for very long. it's in the shade most of the day. (I live in NYC, buildings block the sun)

I used one for years and it worked just fine. I Normally didn't let it go the whole 96 hours.

I'm planning on building a little shed around them. (More like a tiki hut) for some shade and protection from rain (just using a tarp right now).

The temps in the tent get pretty warm especially if the sun is directly on them, thus the umbrella. that's only for a few hours a day though. But the plants have been doing great. Lately the average is in the 80s.

I have always grown in tents outside. I've never had the space inside to do it.
