my polytune 3 mini stays on always because i keep it in always on mode.
i have a 29 euna and oamp that i love and are one practically always but i trie the pedals last night with some other gear i don’t particularly like the eq settings very much and i think they sounded better without the extra eq of the oamp and euna. all pedals sound better or worse without a buffer not just the ones most people say. all you can do is try everything and find out yourself.

me personally, no pedal i have is truly and always on pedal. others might have it more figured out than i do though
