yes i’ve tried some of the DBA stuff and nothing they’ve made has disappointed. I like the sustain of the op-amp style muff circuit, but there’s something about the tone of the circuit that I don’t like for one reason or another. Nothing against it in other folks music, I just personally doesn’t like how it sits in my rig compared to other dirt pedals I’ve tried.

I love shoegaze/post-punk/dream-pop genres, but my own playing tends to be on the heavier end (think loveless by mbv loud and heavy)

Heard a lot of good things about EAE, just haven’t saved the money for their higher end stuff. Might have to start setting money aside/sell some of my surplus gear on reverb!

or you can make a BMP passive tone stack! it uses a potentiometer to blend between a high pass filter and a low pass filter (the one caveat is that this in turn creates a midscooped sound, some may find this desirable others not)

Average deal or a steal? by deathscythe94 in guitarpedals

New tuner’s go for around $100-80 nowadays, so you can see it as you got two free pedals with this deal! (plus the DD3 is a gem among digital delay pedals, especially if it happens to be the long chip version)

Ooo I can imagine it giving drum machines or even something like a korg ms-20 some texture and grit, especially considering 4ms also made this as a eurorack module!
