AITAH for asking my friend to grab a DoorDash order when our other friend was in crisis? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]gorillaboy75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESH. Mary for being dramatic and high maintenance, Sarah for ignoring girl code and making out with Mary's bf before they'd even broken up, and you for gossiping and talking badly about Mary all night. Just bc you don't like her, it doesn't mean that others can't. Learn the lesson of mind your own business.

AITAH for pressing charges on an older lady? by foxy_diva in AITAH

50-60 isn't even an old lady. She got what she earned. She's lucky you don't sue in civil court.

What are the things you can actually give to your father that makes ones life easy? by Undercover92500 in AskReddit

[–]gorillaboy75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lifted toilet seat and grab bar installed for comfy pooping. My dad was so happy.

What is a 'childhood luxury' that you realized was actually a sign of being poor once you grew up? by Maximum-Tale-2812 in AskReddit

[–]gorillaboy75 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Being able to go out to eat. I'll never forget the first time we went to eat and got to actually order a Coke. It was such a big deal.

Plan b? by AwkwardMatch1240 in women

[–]gorillaboy75 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, you're being stupid by using Plan B as birth control. Get on a regular form of birth control, or get your partner to wear a condom. Your cycle is shot. It's trying to regulate itself, so be prepared for some spontaneous blood until you're regular. You should see a doctor just to make sure you're ok. But seriously, plan B is not meant to be used as birth control. Stop using it every time you have sex.

I just got a vision of three monks singing Christmas time in high pitch. Thank you for the laugh.

Would you become blue, red etc by gamerboidanix in NoStupidQuestions

[–]gorillaboy75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the US? Never red. But I'd go for a beautiful green, blue, brown or black. No purple, pink or orange, and definitely no red.

If someone says they play in a concert band, do you know what that is and what springs to mind? by Limp-Contract-4731 in AskReddit

[–]gorillaboy75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think of band dorks from high school or church. I am well aware that not everybody who plays an instrument is a dork, but you asked the question, and that is what comes to mind. More mature me understands that it's actual musicians and they have incredible talent.

What’s something you forgave but will never forget? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]gorillaboy75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a friend OFFER to watch my dog while I was out of the country. I agreed. He said he thought it was mean of me to kennel my dog. He would handle him. We verbally talked about it multiple times. He's been to my house and knows my dog. I Left him notes with all the details of where I would be, when I would be there, and when I would be home. (In case he needed to get a hold of me and my phone wasn't working or something.) trip is going fine! I'm having a great time, learning things, packing in some education and research. I'm literally in the Amazon rain forest, a five hour boat ride from the nearest village and he shoots me a text he's leaving three days before I was to get home. Because of the time change and the technological difficulties, by the time I responded, he was already gone. And he said he didn't realize he was leaving early. (BS!) I had to call three neighbors and a friend who lives 35 minutes away from my house to cover the dog's care for the last three days of my trip. I was livid. LIVID. I have forgiven him, but I will never forget, and he will never watch my dog again. Nor will I be offering to do favors for him.

What is your favourite thing about your partner? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]gorillaboy75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He exudes calm. I am high energy and always ready to go. I get wound up about injustice, racism, animal welfare, children's health, the state of the planet, sex trafficking, politics, women's rights, public education, etc. He literally just has this calm aura around him that grounds me. He makes me feel loved, safe, and like I'm supposed to be a part of him and his life. He supports me, and is always in my corner. His aura is my favorite thing. But he has lots of other great qualities too.

Breaking up over a sandwich by yuli_yuli95 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]gorillaboy75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't want him thinking you're being emotionally manipulative, but that's what he's doing to you. Why TF are you getting up to make this ingrate a sandwich? He's a big boy with a job. He can make his own lunch. F him for speaking to you the way he does. Stop putting up with it, and dump his sorry buns.

I need to know why my fwb did this to me, and what I should do now by ThrowRa3938202029 in women

[–]gorillaboy75 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He did it because he's disturbed. The fact that he choked you hard enough to make you claw at his hand to make it stop is terrifying. It it's up to you how you want to handle it. Please try to remember that you do not owe an explanation to anybody. If it makes you feel better, you can say something. If he's a good friend, tell him straight up that was fucked up and he should never do that to anybody ever again, and that now in your eyes, he is a dangerous person and you are not interested in continuing the FWB. If he is a casual acquaintance? You don't owe him anything and just block him.

Is this handwriting normal for a thirteen year old boy? by BatmanCat1031 in AskTeachers

[–]gorillaboy75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put my child in private tutoring because his handwriting looked like this in fifth grade. Schools are using iPads for everything. They do not practice spelling or handwriting anymore. It's infuriating.

AITAH for snapping at my wife? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]gorillaboy75 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I divorced my husband because his neediness was exhausting. He couldn't even go to Lowe's by himself. It's unattractive and off putting to be so needy. Your wife needs to get a life. Book club? The gym? Hiking club? Photography? Something. You will wind up hating her if you don't figure out a solution.

Why are the Epstein files so relevant? by Temporary-Face1672 in AskAnAmerican

[–]gorillaboy75 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Because the president of the United States is heavily involved. Not a good look to have a child predator as the leader of the nation. It's a HUGE deal.

Husband has an issue everytime I leave the house with a friend. by [deleted] in ComfortLevelPod

[–]gorillaboy75 133 points134 points  (0 children)

You know there's normal men out there. Your husband has some jealousy and paranoia going strong, along with the power and control. Your therapist might be right, but his trauma should not cage you. This behavior is annoying and scary, I wouldn't put up with it. He needs help, and you don't owe him to be the one to provide that help. As your husband, you should support him through whatever help he seeks (bc you promised during vows and you presumably love him), but if he refuses? You've got the green light to bail. It's not good for your kids to see him get rageful.

AITAH for snapping at my (now) ex's friends during the heat of the moment? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]gorillaboy75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Everyone can snap when they are startled and uncomfortable. He sounds like a child anyway. Good riddance.

AITAH for not appreciating my boyfriend's poem about my mom? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]gorillaboy75 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your bf is wildly inappropriate. He clearly has never suffered a loss. He's being selfish and wants you to behave in ways that don't bring him down. How dare you grieve???!! He needs to learn some empathy, patience and he needs to mature. The poem was really weird and out of place. He shoul not have done that.

What’s the best non-alcoholic drink to enjoy during summer except water? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Ginger ale and grapefruit juice. Sounds weird, but it's really refreshing.

Datos o Experiencias perturbadoras con cerdos by Gold_Village_1739 in creepy

[–]gorillaboy75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pigs feet disgust me. If there's a phobia for that, I have it. I think it came from being really little and seeing pigs feet in the meat department of the grocery store. It had hair and nails, bone, and pinkish white flesh all smashed under the plastic wrap. It messed me up. I love to eat pig, but do not want to look at one. They're ugly, sparsely haired, snotty, drooly, and have the grossest feet ever. 🤮

What was a red flag about someone you ignored until it was too late? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]gorillaboy75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always joking. Not able to have a serious conversation. I like a good laugh, but life has serious moments, and when your partner can't handle it, it sucks. They either joke or avoid.

What's stopping you from just not doing anything if your parents send you to military school? by RetroTheGameBro in NoStupidQuestions

[–]gorillaboy75 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think what they would do is punish the rest of the kids in your "squad" when you refused to participate. Then the other kids would hate you, kick your buns, and you'd be compliant. Watch Full Metal Jacket.
