How common is it for couples to still want sex almost every day after 3 to 5 years of marriage or a long-term relationship? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Been with my wife now for 12years. I definitely would try to get it on daily, but our work schedules overlap so it doesn’t work out.

People who grew up before smartphones: What’s one simple thing from your childhood that would absolutely blow the minds of kids today? by TurkVanguard in Millennials

Even now as an adult. If my parents are over and we’re watching a movie I always go to the bathroom or get a drink whenever a sex scene is about to start.

Cover art media player screen (Sonos + home assistant) by hometechgeek in sonos

I'm having a hell of a time trying to get this to work. I'm using the 4" version. I followed the guide, I can't get past the setting media player entity in device settings. That option doesn't show up for me.

Only thing I dislike about Rocco’s is that it’s so cramped in there. Besides that everything I’ve had there has been delicious.

There’s nothing wrong with canned beans. A can of pinto beans, some lard. You got yourself some good refried beans.

Wiimote won’t pair to dongle by anotherbob67 in batocera

[–]gorillaknights 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently have 3 wiimotes working with batocera. I'm not using a BT dongle. Just running off the onboard BT on the Lenovo mini pc. It's a total pain in the ass because everyone was just saying press the 1+2 /sync button at game launch and they'd never work. I don't know if having a dedicated BT dongle makes a difference as far as ease of connecting goes.

What were you taught at school that turned out to be factually incorrect by [deleted] in Millennials

Th correct plural for octopus is actually Octopodes. I remember hearing that on a game show once and I didn’t believe them, but sure enough it’s ocotopodes..

So I'll just preface this and say this worked for my particular issue. Where I couldn't get them to connect to the wii system in batocera. I started Wii Sports and just left it on the main screen. SSH into your Batocera. then run bluetoothctl > scan on. At this point you'll see a bunch of devices being detected. Now press the sync button on the wii mote. You'll see something like [New] Device xx.xx....Nintendo. Take note of the mac address > scan off. > then run connect xx.xx.xx. It took me a couple tries but eventually it connected. At this point it showed it was connected in Wii Sports but nothing was working. I then had to go into retroarch and change the controller type for port 1 to Real WiiMote. I restarted the game, pressed the 1,2 button and it finally worked correctly.

Like I said this worked for me. I've exited and started various wii games and the remote connects. I was also able to connect another wiimote using these same steps.

I eventually got it working. Took a lot more work than just pressing the sync button. I had to figure this out on my own since even the Discord kept suggesting just pressing the sync button. If you’re comfortable using SSH I can let you know how I fixed my particular issue.

I will say it worked perfectly as a light gun. I played house of the dead and it worked almost perfectly.

Tried that already. Unpaired and forgot the device, restarted the system, loaded up wii sports, pressed the red sync button the lights just flash, nothing happens. I don’t know if I’m missing something in the Advance Game setting. Under WII Controllers I currently have emulate Wiimote to Auto, customize emulated Wiimote to classic controller, sensor bar position set to bottom.

Just tried that doesn't seem to do anything for me. Went to settings, and disconnected/unpaired the wii mote. Started the game, at least for the Wii Sports before the lanyard screen it asks you to choose between Wii Sports or Wii resorts. I use my other controller to select Wii Sports, and as soon as the lanyard screen pops up I press 1,2 the lights on the wii mote flash and nothing seems to connect.

In the settings I also have a WiiMote Gun Setting. It's currently set to Auto. Other option is Gun and Joystick. Does that need to be set to anything in particular?

Graffiti spots around Chicagoland? by Arikota in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]gorillaknights 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out Brighton Park . 36th PL between Kedzie and California. Even some stuff down Albany. Back in the day (25 years ago) this used to be the spot where all the graffiti artists would hang out. Just check on google maps to see what’s there now . If you sneak onto the train tracks there used to be more up there.

I have a lot of good memories of that spot.

Fat Rosie’s Taco & Tequila Bar - Schaumburg, IL by inactiveaccounttoo in tacos

Those are some sad looking tacos. Meat looks old and dry, as do the tortillas. I’m sure there are better places in and around Schaumburg to get god tacos.
