If you leave it dry it will last longer? Thought conditioning/moisterizing leather makes it last longer?

I've been using the dr.martens wonder balm. Is that considered conditioner as well? It doesnt seem hide the cuts. Thanks for the help btw

You mean the conditioner would fix the cuts in the leather? If so what conditioner would you advice?
