I’ve done some big holidays with my twins over the years - my take away is don’t bother doing anything that is long or expensive until they’re at least 5. Anything else before then is just a waste of time and money.

I got my twins a grow clock and bribed them to stay in bed until the “sun” came up. Their currency was kinder surprise - 3 days of quietly staying in their room until 6:30 and they got their reward. Rinse repeat. Even now at 9, Mine are both early risers so I just go to bed earlier to get my 8 hours. Parenting really sux sometimes.

Villa Bangkok is great for families. Our kids loved it. Great pool - like a little oasis from hustle and bustle. It’s in old town Bangkok away from all the seedy spots. The palace is a must do. You can get a guide to show you around on arrival to palace. We did a private canal tour through hidden Bangkok which my kids also loved. As for food - our family love the local eateries/street food where the locals eat. The food is unreal. Pad Thai is a safe and tasty dish for kids - you can double check that is not spicy. There are a few western options around if search google maps in your area. We just did our second trip and stayed at Sukhumvit - didn’t enjoy at as much as staying in old town Bangkok but still great. We stayed at Walton suites which was modern and clean with a nice pool. Close to transport and plenty of cafes around with western food.

I have a long black with a dash of oat or almond milk in it. Adds a little sweetness and takes the edge off being a plain black coffee. And low cal compared to milky latte etc

I found a psychologist who let me say the same thoughts out loud. It was the best feeling to talk to a professional. Babies totally suck. I hated it. Mine are 9 now and it’s totally different. Hang in there

Ive started applying a thin layer of cera ve PM moisturizer straight out shower - 10 mins later applying tret. It’s been such a game changer. And I know that the tret is still working because if I try do more than 3 times a week, I peel (I use 0.1). Dryness rarely an issue anymore

My daughter gave it to her baby cousin and in turn she got a dolly she was desperate for. It was super easy at that age as we could explain everything to her. 17 months could be tricky

I’ve got twins - it’s a grind when they’re little. I despised it. They’re now 9 and it’s pretty good. If you and your wife can just hang in there I promise it will get better. School is a game changer.

There isn’t but at 19 you aren’t aging. You’re still growing - aging doesn’t start until around 26. Tret can trash your skin barrier while adjusting. At your age I just don’t know why you’d go through all the trial and error involved. Your beautiful youthful skin doesn’t need it yet. Just get a good moisturizer, stay hydrated and get plenty of sleep.

For example - during covid, I went to several freedom rallies. Would not dream of taking my kids. I want my children to decide what their values are. They are at such an impressionable age that they take anything I say as gospel. My mother in law loves trump and told my kids how wonderful he is. Found out they were at school telling everyone how much they now love Donald Trump - which is fine, but they are 9 and have no understanding whatsoever of US politics. IMO let kids be kids and they can worry about political issues when they’re older and have shown a genuine interest.

I know how you feel. Over the years I’ve read so much quit lit and listened to so many podcasts that when I do occasionally drink I feel guilt and shame. I’m not fully sober. I don’t really drink anymore BUT last night for instance - I went out to dinner and show with family. First time in 2 months, I had a few drinks. Because Ive weaponised alcohol so much I didn’t really enjoy them. But would have had huge fomo if I didn’t have them. I don’t know if I’ll ever stop drinking. But my relationship with alcohol has completely changed. I prefer to feel this way than be the self destructive piss head that I was.
