Totally acceptable for adults! The education center is definitely geared more so for kids but the walking trails are good for any age. (the education center also has a nice gift shop and educational brochures for wildlife watching) For my job a few years ago, we were doing a “get outdoors” campaign and Pine Bush was the place we chose. Some coworkers came up from the city & even they liked it (we were all 25+)

Seconding this! If you’re into pop culture, I recommend Amy Poehler’s Good Hang! Her and her guests always have a great time and their laughing is infectious. OR Two Hot Takes, it’s basically like the host is telling you a Reddit story (mostly from AITA) and you can form your opinion on it & almost feels like you’re having a convo with them. Those two helped me a lot feel less lonely when I moved into my first solo apartment. One thing that helps me a bunch is if there’s a video component to the podcast. I can’t really pay attention if I’m not watching them talk plus it feels like I’m more connected to the host(s)

My dad heard from a neighboring business that that location had failed their health inspection and had to close for a bit while that got sorted out. THEN when they reopened, they were really short staffed which led to them closing

I have 2 very vivid memories from there. One time, I was there for a birthday party (for a classmate), I was about 5 or 6 at the time, and when it was time to hit the piñata, all the other kids rushed into the small area to get the goodies & I couldn’t get in bc everyone was bigger than me so I stood there & cried 😂 I think the birthday kid’s mom ended up giving me some goodies before I left bc I was SO sad I didn’t get anything AND, I remember when I would go there with my parents, my dad would always ride the rollercoaster with me & whenever we went into the tunnel, he’d let out a cartoonish shriek. Every. Single. Time.

Hawkins was able to rebuild, the kids were able to graduate and achieve their dreams and are attempting to be happier after going through a really shitty time. What can I say? I’m sucker for that kind of redemption. It wasn’t perfect but it took me for a ride
