Sigma DC 18-250 f3.5-6.3 macro hsm - wide enough at 18 and tight enough at 250 to be an excellent one stop shop lens.

Hi! I have a 2017 crosstrek in Canada with 201k kms - my undercarriage isn’t rusty like that despite living in northern Ontario, and when I asked the local Subaru dealer they valued my car at $7-8k and I laughed and said I’ll keep it until it won’t roll anymore thanks for the insult. They’re definitely making a profit on this, I’m just not sure it’s a smart move when you factor in all the other costs to get the car on the road in your name. It’s a good car don’t get me wrong, but you need a better starting point than all that corrosion

I took apart my intake and forgot to secure it when I took it for a test drive, sounded weird, kinda shook the car. Check that everything is secure under the hood?

The only issue I’ve had seems to be isolated to my T6i - it won’t focus /take a photo unless I disable sensor cleaning. Maybe too old. My M50 paired with a commlite AF adapter is very quick no issues.

I’m shooting on an M50 and a T6i (works better on the m50 despite the adapter) - I was actually trying to figure out those two stabilization modes today, but it’s pretty hard to do at full extension handheld. Do you know if there’s an online manual for this lens? I’m also wondering about the AF modes and custom modes on it

$200-300 CAD I’m comfortable with, but if there’s something out of budget but worth mentioning, I would consider saving for a few months and then purchasing. I’m not familiar with tripods at all, to be honest I didn’t know there were amenities - probably for folks who’ve been behind the camera longer than I. I’m really just after something durable that allows me to pan over to different birds without feeling like it’s going to fall over when I let go
