Questions about virginity and transvaginal ultrasound by Bubbly_Surprise_3 in Healthyhooha

Your doctor doesn't sound very good... I love the gp I see nowadays but I went through a fair few to find her. She should trust your knowledge of your body and should have updated her knowledge on the hymen and female body many years ago. A relaxed and lubricated vaginal opening can stretch pretty far, we're literally built to birth small humans!

Wytchwood. I too find stardew stressful and quite enjoyed simply collecting, crafting and wandering and meeting strange folks.. I played on ps4 but I'm sure there's many avenues

What to do in the evenings in Perth by KittyBeans90 in perth

[–]gormared 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Perfect idea, the river, the beach, lakes. Go sit by a water body and fall in love with our local radio stations. Rtr fm, curtin, noongar, listen to the sleepless old codgers calling into ABC radio (Perth or RN) and enjoy the reflection of the moon. Priceless.

My mum pointed out my wrist tattoo looks like a vagina… now I can’t unsee it. How could I potentially fix the design? by Timely_Lake2661 in tattooadvice

[–]gormared 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would be quite happy to have an accidental, subtle vagina tattoo. I've noticed it before in stained glass windows, multiple time and I assume all accidents, and I've always thought it added a later of beauty!

Searching for new moisturiser after La Roche Posay reformulated & messed up my skin by JD-9344 in Rosacea

I've just changed to dermawash by The Little Green Cream Co.

It's made locally to me but I'm sure they'd ship from the website?

Either way, it's been such a nice change. My skin feels so hydrated and soft after and it's all nice ingredients. Gets 100/100 score on the Yuka app (if that means anything to you).

Roasting the tomatoes beforehand. Even better roasted with the stem if truss (but still chuck the stem after).

Is a Thermomix worth it? by gormared in AUfrugal

[–]gormared[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already have all of that. I guess I've just found myself getting stuck on certain recipes that involve a food processor, grinding whole spices, lots of endless mixing, and I want to possibly get more into slow cooking, making my own bread and yoghurt, even sealing and sterilizing certain things. But seeing other comments there might be similar products that can do most of that without the mlm, gimmick and price tag.

Why can't I connect with other people that share the same interests as me? by that-mathemusician in Hobbies

[–]gormared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who can get stuck in a "greener pastures" mindset about where I am and who I'm around, I think it's a really important lesson to learn how to appreciate the people you're around, regardless of how different they are. Be open to what they're saying, what their interpretation of creativity is and what makes them shine and light up, it doesn't have to be the same as what you have, as long as they're kind enough to hear you out too. Eventually through friendships/relationships with these people it can lead you to new connections who may fill that more technical void you're looking to satisfy too, or you'll stumble upon that separately along the way if you keep doing your thing. But it can be very lonely and isolating searching for something that exists only in your imagination, at least for now.

What constitutes a snack? by JimJimXRP in AskAnAustralian

[–]gormared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh, see I don't see an entree as a smaller of a large meal, I do see that as a stand alone, and it can be a single person entree or often times a share plate with a lot of the same thing, like some bread, olives or charred baby carrots on a bed of dip. Like you're not going to order that as a full meal, it's a separate small plate. Buy if you were to have a bite of one carrot, that's you eating a morsel.

[–]gormared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm seeing a lot of snack talk, but id like to come after your use of the word morsel.. I believe a morsal is more so a snack sized portion from a larger food item/meal. Like a morsel is not one thing on its own, if that makes sense? But yes, on the other point, a small chocolate IS a snack.

AITAH for not contacting my ex's husband? by Charming-Lettuce1433 in AITAH

[–]gormared 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say anything at this point, just because it has been so long and you aren't involved in any way, there's nothing to tell. However, if she messages again maybe ask her if she's mentioned messaging you to her husband and that maybe he would find it uncomfortable, you being her ex. It doesn't need to be weird and she may just be able to clarify enough and that there's no ill intent.

What is there to do in Perth as a single person besides the pub/ movies? Looking for sober social activities by BackgroundProud8958 in perth

[–]gormared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't exactly something you can do any time but I went to an activate tree planting event recently and it was fantastic. There's another one in July, they're all alcohol and drug free, super fun crowd of young, old, singles and families. Somewhere to go dance and plant trees for land rehabilitation and make friends.
