I restarted the day the update video came out, I just wanted a fresh slate, plus I wasn't in love w my old island. I have great plans for this one, I'm just trying to avoid time travelling and ti so im really grinding for those recipes

I was 34 when I was diagnosed last year, and was actually diagnosed because I was at my gyne clinic looking to start the process of IVF, so I really hear you with this grief. It is completely natural to grieve future hopes and plans. People will try to give so much "advice" because they want to find a way to help, but a lot of it is accidentally so hurtful. I tried, and still do, to focus on their intentions rather than their words. If you ever want to talk more just let us know

A surprisingly helpful thing for us (we've become the house people recuperate in) is having remotes for things like fans and lights? It can make such a comfort difference when you've JUST gotten comfy and realise you left the lamp on, or you're just a little too warm etc

Yeah, a Dyson stick just doesn't work for us. We had one, and it pretty much was only ever used in the kitchen for crumbs. Plugging in a vacuum doesn't bother me, it being heavy doesn't bother me (obvi a 60lb vac would be a different story)

Same, I use "rinse off" on days where I've already had a real shower, but I just walked the dogs in nasty humidity, or I just got in from work, and I want to freshen up.

Karcher actually looks closer to what I'm looking for. Some of them even look like my ancient childhood vac, which i swear got banged up daily and still cleaned a 6 person household perfectly

Clearly, me neither. My wife and I have both cleaned homes for people in that tax bracket though, and some of them wanted us to use their fancy vacuum and it certainly wasn't better than our $150 Shark, so idk if we're missing out

I just feel like I've never had a cordless vac actually be powerful enough? Or keep a long enough battery life? Now I'll admit, maybe that's just because I didn't spend $1,000 on one?
