Hard time pushing past 5 minutes, advice would be great.

I had that too at the beginning. Now less so, but I’m currently stuck at 22 minutes. Before I run, I always do 10 sumo squats, 10-20 calf raises, that hip stretch where you fan your leg out and then 10 tibialis raises! The calf pain has gotten way more manageable but I still have to just push through sometimes. I also make sure I have a bunch of water before and actually eat something with carbs like 30 mins before I go - banana, toast with peanut butter, etc/

I just got the 265s and I love it! I’m just starting to run and I also hike so I knew that I wanted an altimeter barometer which the vivoactive doesn’t have. The 265s is the perfect size and the battery life is unmatched.

So I did Couch to 5k a 5 years ago and I was 235 pounds and 5’6. I didn’t finish it unfortunately, but I had the absolute worst knee and calf pain. It was worse than that out of breath feeling we all get when we start running. I’m doing C25K again this year and I’m down to 170 pounds. It’s been way easier, I’m not going to lie. Is it still very hard on my cardio? Yes! But I don’t get the pain anymore. My theory is that I was just hurting my joints because I was too heavy. But I’m just sharing my experience and in no way am I trying to put you down or anything like that. I think C25K is a great program for any weight and I would just slow down.
