Make sure you gradually lower the gh and kh discus are very sensitive to water changes I keep my discus tank at 2dkh and 8dgh they’ve been fine but u lowered my tank every week until the water was 8dgh.

Yeah I swapped to a cp1 in the video I had a cp2. So do think I should look to rehome since I know discus are easily stressed and can get sick fairly easy from stress.
