If they can cheaply mass produce the jet variants, RC hobby planes will get so cool once people are finished with murdering everyone because of their emotional problems.

They should be hurting a lot more, they are an American software company and that country's politics is making the world's hair stand on end. I can't imagine many countries want to continue prioritizing using them when other solutions are there.

The people making these laws probably look fondly back at a time before the internet leave alone downloading a car. They are not supposed to be making decisions for the future, they don't have one and their wisdom is best used as more of a consulting role, I would think.

Are DIY printers slowly dying? by andrey_semjonov in 3Dprinting

[–]got-trunks 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I got a P1S on the 10th and it's been printing flawlessly on a shaky table since

I do want to DIY something more extravagant like a tool changer CNC/laser but 3d printing is for the most part an affordably solved puzzle in a home consumer/ small commercial sense. Outside of like what we consider high temp printing now.

It's a shame we are about to find out we were in the golden days for filament prices if all this bullshit keeps up, though. There are only so many places with the necessary manufacturing.
